About Me

I’m Philipp Geyer (AKA Nistur) and I’m currently working for FreeStyle Games in Leamington Spa. Since graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Games Technology from University of Abertay Dundee in 2010, I’ve been working in the games industry, working primarily on mobile devices.

Despite the title of blog, I do work. I work hard. I just get sidetracked, thankfully as I enjoy what I do, it’s almost always by things at least partially relevant. This site is then mainly a place for me to showcase what I have done and record what other random things I’ve done along the way.

Along with programming, I am also interested in games, case modding, Linux, breaking my computer, fixing it again. Sometimes going out and doing outside things like hiking, but as I live in London now, it’s a pain to get anywhere half decent.

I have worked on 5 released titles for iOS, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Backbreaker 2: Vengeance, Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, Call of Duty Black Ops: Zombies and Wipeout.

Since leaving Ideaworks, I have been working at FreeStyleGames, working mostly on Guitar Hero: Live.
